Abstract

This research is about the rulings of hospitality in the Islamic sharia'. It consists of six chapters. The first chapter is about the meaning of hospitality; the second its value; the third its ruling; the fourth who is addressed; the fifth explaining what it includes and the sixth about its manners. The research concludes with a group of conclusions. The most important conclusions are: hospitality is legitimate and it’s a sunnah that the wise legislator cares about and calls Muslims to embody it in their lives; since hospitality is one of the genuine Islamic manners and noble values that a Muslims should maintain and it include food, drink and offering bed; and there are a number of good manners which are desirable to make them available for both the guest and the host so that one shouldn't be the reason for embarrassing the other.
