Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the public schools principals at Jerash governorate for the 2021st advanced educational leadership standards. The descriptive survey method was used. A questionnaire based on the standards performance descriptions was built and used to gather the essential data for the study.

The veracity of tool was examined in two ways, where face validity of the tool was approved by the estimated agreement of arbitrators on the interior validity and the belonging of the items to their domain which reached (.87). The interior consistency validity correlation was calculating, the correlation coefficient was ranged between (.417- .796) The tool reliability was estimated by calculating the correlation coefficient of the internal consistency approach by using Cronbach Alpha, which reached (.95), also by using ( spilt-halves) method, it is reached (.89).

The study sample was consisted of (120) male and female principals of the public schools, whom represents (66.) of the study population that consisting of (181) principals were selected by stratified random sample method.

The results showed the following, the degree of practicing the public schools principals for the 2021st advanced educational leadership standards is high, with relative weight (.715). The result also showed there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample due to the gender variable, educational qualification variable, the year in service and the school level variables.

According to these results the study recommended to run out comparative studies. Increasing the level of goals that principals should reach to .Helping teachers to improve practicing national and specialized standards which leads to improve students learning.
