Abstract
The present study deals with discussing those dramatic aspects that can be monitored in Nizar Qabbani's poetry, and shows the modern critical impact on those scenes that appear in Nizar Qabbani's poems. It also deals with the narrative mechanisms that Nizar Qabbani benefited from in the formation of the dramatic scene.Based on this idea, the study consists of a set of axes: the first axis deals with a presentation of the basic concepts: scene, drama, poetry, and Nizar Qabbani's ingenuity in drafting the scene. The second axis: drama and poetry, and it shows the elements of linking between drama as a text to be acted and poetry as a lyrical text. The third axis: building the dramatic scene of Nizar Qabbani, narration methods, time techniques, followed by a presentation of the findings of the research.The research shows a clear benefit from the data of modern criticism in the formation of the structure of the dramatic poem by Nizar Qabbani, based on the idea of intersection of literary genres, and its impact on this dramatic structure.
