Abstract

The study aimed to define the role of educational initiatives in public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Kasbah Irbid Brigade with the professional growth of teachers from their point of view, and to achieve the objective of the study, the descriptive approach was used with a correlational relationship, and the questionnaire is a tool for the study, which was distributed to a sample of (365) teachers working in government schools in the Directorate of Education of the Irbid Kasbah Brigade. The results of the study showed that there is a role for educational initiatives in public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Kasbah Irbid Brigade with the professional growth of teachers from their point of view average, and the results also showed that there is no statistically significant relationship in the averages of the estimates of the members of the study sample of the role of educational initiatives in public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Kasbah Irbid District with the professional growth of teachers due to gender variables, academic qualification, years of experience. In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a number of recommendations, most notably: Continuing the work of educational initiatives in schools.
