Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to investigate the Role of Participative Management and its effects on Performance among the Employees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh. 200 questionnaires were distributed and 144 completed questionnaires were returned and were used for statistical analysis. The first instrument used was designed to measure the effects of Participation and exposure to and experience with Participative Management, and the second instrument used was designed to measure employees’ perception of Performance. Both instruments were drawn from Al-Yahya, 2005). The overall mean value for level of Participation and its effects was high, and the overall mean value for the level of performance was high as well and there was positive relationship between Participation and Performance, and Participation explained 29.8% of the variations of the Performance levels. Recommendations were presented based on analysis and findings.
