Abstract
ملخص:
تبحث هذه الدراسة في مدى تأثر النظام الانتخابي المختلط على خلق حالة التعايش التي مر بها النظام السياسي الفلسطيني بعد الانتخابات التشريعية الثانية عام 2006، وذلك من خلال تطوير إطار نظري يقوم على فكرة المجتمعات المنقسمة. ,قد توصلنا في هذه الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج مهمة ضمن هذه العلاقة، حيث وجدنا أن التصويت الاستراتيجي في هذه الانتخابات كان أكثر حساسية تجاه الانقسام في الموقف حول العلاقة مع الاحتلال، كما أن النظام المختلط لم يستطع كثيراً تقليل معاقبة الأحزاب الصغيرة الناجم عن نظام التعددية، بالشكل الذي زاد فرص حصول حالة التعايش.

Abstract:
We investigate through the relation between mixed electoral system and cohabitation occurred in Palestinian political system after the legislative election in 2006. By this relation, we find interesting results; we find that strategically voting in this election was so sensitive to political division in the relation toward occupation. In additional of that, we find that mixed electoral system could not so much reduce punishment to small parties comparing with Plurality system used in districts tier, which increase the likely to occur cohabitation.
