Abstract
In this system, an intelligent monitoring system for crop is implemented. It comprises various function modules. The kernel one is the automatic identification module of the plant diseases and pests. The feature of pre-processing is first carried out to generate the various feature vectors, and then a SVM classifier is trained from these vectors. The experimental results firmly demonstrate the discriminating function of the SVM classifier.
