Abstract

There has been worldwide concern for the regional logistic planning, and the prediction of logistic demand is the basic and important parts in the logistic planning. And in this paper the prediction of logistic demand has been divided into three parts, which are agricultural logistic demand, manufacturing logistic demand and business logistic demand. In this way the prediction would show the different influence factors of industry constructions in different area. In regional logistic demand prediction, the method of Support Vector Regression (SVR) is considered as a useful technique for data prediction. And the analyses of different industries are built up on the system of influence factors with different industries. And by the studying the traffic volumes and several influence factors of Sichuan from 2001 to 2010, which verified the suggestions of logistic prediction in regional logistic planning.
