Abstract
We propose a novel strategy for the multi period disassembly in reverse logistic. The proposed system combines the naturalinspired cuckoo search with the artificial inspired harmony search algorithms for disassembly of end of life products. The new strategy is tested by considering a test case and its performance is compared with the conventional optimization techniques. The obtained results are validated based on the cost, disassembly time, and execution time. It is shown that the performance of proposed technique outperforms the conventional technique. Hence the proposed hybrid metaheuristics approach is suitable for the real time reverse logistics management.
