Abstract

We introduce local cohomology for the edge ideal of a graph, and investigate some properties of local cohomology modules for Artinian modules and coatomic modules, such that the property to be finitely generated, Artinian and coatomic. Also we present vanishing results. Moreover, we present results which involve the theory of local cohomology modules together with the edge ideal of a finite simple graph, with no isolated vertices.
