Abstract
We define the generalized odd log-logistic Maxwell distribution and propose a parametric regression model based on the new distribution with three systematic components for its parameters. Some properties and maximum likelihood estimation are addressed and various simulations for different parameter settings, systematic components and sample sizes are performed. Three applications to real data sets in engineering (strength and mechanics of materials) empirically prove the usefulness of the proposed models.
