Abstract
In this manuscript, we introduce the idea of generalized (F,τ)-proximal contraction and prove new best proximity results for these contractions in the context of a generalized metric space. Our findings extend and generalize a number of previous results from the literature. Also, We present an example to illustrate the applicability of our results. Keywords:
