This study aimed at identifying the attitudes of Al-Balqa Applied University students towards the misunderstanding for the concept of physical education from their perspective as well as identifying the statistical differences according to the study variables (gender, academic year, accumulative average, place of residence, faculty, university, and practice). The researcher used the descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study objectives. The study sample consisted of 1000 male and female students from Al-Balqa Applied University who are enrolled in the first semester of the academic year (2017/2018), who were chosen randomly. The researcher uses the questionnaire as the tool for collecting data and used SPSS in order to analyze the data. The results showed that the level of the attitudes of Al-Balqa Applied University students towards the misunderstanding for the concept of physical education from their perspective was low, and that there are statistically significant differences in the students' attitudes due to the variable of gender in favor of the female students, and for the place of residence in favor of the village. the results showed that there are differences due to the faculty in favor of the scientific faculties, and due to the academic year in favor of the first year. While he results showed that there are no statistically significant differences due to practice and accumulative average. The researcher recommends the need to spread the culture and raise awareness among university students about the concept of physical education and philosophy to develop positive attitudes towards them in order to increase the practice among students.
