Abstract

Objective: This research came to study the phenomenon of Islam phobia in terms of concept and origin, and in order to identify the most important reasons that led to the emergence of this phenomenon, and then highlight objective scientific material to talk about it, and ways to treat it. Methodology: The researcher took more than one approach in order to reach his goal, including: the inductive approach: by tracking the issues and branches related to the topic, and then the descriptive approach: by describing the phenomenon as it is on the ground. The most important results: The research concluded that the phenomenon of Islam phobia has spread and spread in Western society, as well as among some Muslims as well, and the phenomenon of Islam phobia has many and varied reasons, the most important of which was the deviant Western media, and its role, which is based on distorting and falsifying facts, compared to the weakness of the Islamic media that faces such claims. Conclusions and recommendations: The treatment of the phenomenon of Islam phobia is not limited to individuals or groups, but it is something that must be shared by all, such as governments and institutions of various forms, in addition to the need to activate the role of the media, because of its great importance in influencing public opinion, and to be spent on it by countries to prepare qualified people with legal science who speak more than one of the world's languages. As for the recommendations: the research recommends the need to employ various means of technology and its various forms to talk about true Islam, and to dialogue with peoples through these means, to dispel their imagined convictions about Muslims.
