Abstract

Evariste Levi Provencal French Arabist Path (1894-1956)

This article concentrates on thebiography of Provençal. It talks about his life, upbringing and education in Algeria, then his movement to Rabat in 1916 and later his return to Algeria in 1935. It also sheds light on his experience in Paris and his great contribution to the dissemination of historical knowledge throughout the different areas he has gone through.
