Abstract

Textual grammar in the Arabic grammatical theory - The syntax of sentences as a model

This study aims to search textual grammar as conceived by Arab grammarians, using the Dutch Van Dick studies, and the necessity of separating textual grammar from sentential grammar. The focus will be on analyzing problematic issues pertaining to the syntax of sentences in the Arabic grammar on the basis of ancient and modern researchers works.
