Abstract
Imam Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Sussi and the BassiriZaouiya: an established or disestablished relationship
This article deals with the importance of the BassiriZawiya founded by Sheikh Sidi Ibrahim Basir al-Raqibi. It also sheds light on the distinctive relationship it has with Mukhtar al-Susi as regards learning and the al-DarqawiSufi orientation in his journey to Fez and Rabat by passing through the zawiya near Bani Mellal in Bani Ayyat and the recognition of the zawiya’s merit to him.
