Dirassat
Abstract
This article aims to establish a formal link between the syntax and the pragmatic interpretation of left-peripheral construction in Standard Arabic. More precisely, it sheds light on the placement or not of the noun phrase and the resumptive pronoun in hanging topic left-dislocated constructions.
