Abstract
In her publication, the author expressed that the tribal gatherings in southern Morocco are of an extremely complex nature. According to Dr. Fatima Faiz, the element of water is considered a sacred element to these tribes as it embodies all life’s details. Also, the water is considered a sacred element for its pivotal role in ritual magic practices. The author asserts that water rituals in the southeast is not just a folkloric phenomenon, but it rather refers to the peculiarities of society as a well-structured social structure. At last, the author concluded her publication by stating that renewing the connection with cultures and traditions through all the local cultural manifestations would enhance the values of social cohesion and solidarity.
