Abstract
Title : Al-Magrib and its prehistory
Writing History has been constantly revisited to legitimize power relations of the status quo. Man should cling to his geographical whereabouts to position himself in a world perverted by historians. As for Morocco which has always been a melting pot for civilizations, languages and religions, it is undeniable that Moroccan history derives from multiple resources that tangle up. However, Morocco among many other North African countries reached cultural and linguistic unity. Many researchers are currently working to rehabilitate the memory of Morocco amidst this squabble of denominations inscribed by civilizations and colonizers. They strive hard to explore the origins of Moroccans, ranging from prehistoric times of the Homo sapiens to the cultures of the middle and lower Paleolithic era.
