Abstract
This article is a field study initiated back in 2019 and is carried out until now. This contribution sheds light on the teaching of non-linguistic subjects in Morocco, particularly at the level of first-year junior high school (our target population). We have made a comparative study between the public and private sectors while focusing on the different Moroccan educational reforms, most specifically, the strategic vision 2015-2030, and the framework law 51.17.
Our research demonstrates the importance of choosing the language used to teach scientific subjects, from Arabization to francization, its causes, consequences, and obstacles.
