Dirassat
Abstract
This article attempts to explore the use of digital technology in preserving Moroccan rock art, emphasizing the significance of this art form in understanding the history and culture of our ancestors through digital tools such as 3D modeling, virtual reality, and others. This digitization effort aims to document and safeguard these cultural treasures while making them accessible to the public. The objective of the article is to examine the potential of digitizing rock art in our documentary film, "The call of the rupestre- land" We aimed to contribute to the digital conservation of heritage through audiovisual means. Indeed, this modest initiative complements the interdisciplinary efforts of dedicated researchers and the missions of local authorities in preserving this cultural heritage for future generations.
