Abstract
This article examines the impact of streaming platforms, particularly Netflix, on performing arts professions. It explores how Netflix has transformed production practices, distribution methods, and modes of reception for artistic performances. By redefining accessibility, integrating advanced technologies, and offering alternative financing models, Netflix has created a dynamic and inclusive environment for artists and audiences. The challenges and opportunities related to these transformations are also analyzed, including the emergence of new economic models and their long- term viability for the entertainment industry. The article highlights the profound implications of these changes for artists, cultural institutions, and global audiences
