Dirassat
Abstract
This articleis a studydevoted to news items, an information categoryprized by manyindividuals and at the same time « despised » by many people. This analysisaddresses the itinerary of the news items, the historical of itsname and the controversieslinked to its statut as a journalistic genre. However, itisabove all the linguistic-discursive characteristics of the news items which have mostfueled the orientations of thiswork.
