Abstract

In the FLE classroom, the properties of each textual typology are constantly discussed separately. However, it seems to us that the vast majority of learners apparently question the usefulness of all this in their experience. This observation is made in the light of the feedback loop. Since we are convinced that an effective teacher is one who regularly subjects his or her pedagogical actions to reflection, our contribution to the proceedings of this international symposium is intended as a contribution to the various strategies to be adopted with a view to shaping a methodical learner. We will show that the study of text typology represents an opportunity to help students think SMART in the age of artificial intelligence.
