Abstract

Looks into the Sense of Time and Space inThe Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald(1896-1940)

The Great Gatsby has been the subject of several critical studies, but an acevery interesting pact remains somewhat unexplored, namely a semio-approach tick of this masterpiece. In this article, we propose to examine two fundamental elements for grasping the character of the hero: time and space.
