This abstract delves into the fundamental principles & aspirations of Eco-Urbanism, illustrating its commitment to catalysing a paradigm shift that harmonizes ecological, economic, social dimensions within cities. In a world increasingly defined by urbanization and ecological challenges, Eco-Urbanism emerges as an imperative response to the imperative for sustainable urban planning. It envisions cities that are not merely centres of growth but are purposefully designed to coexist with and protect their natural surroundings, nurture economic vitality, and champion social inclusivity. Key to this vision is the promotion of compact and mixed-use development, advocating for urban spaces that minimize sprawl, encourage walkability, and reduce the need for long commutes. The strategic incorporation of green infrastructure elements, encompassing parks, green roofs, and sustainable transportation options, is central to enhancing air quality, fostering recreational opportunities. Public transportation assumes a pivotal role in Eco-Urbanism, ushering in an aera of decreased reliance on private vehicles, with concurrent reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion. Sustainable building practices and renewable energy sources become integral, reducing the environmental footprint of urban development.
