Abstract

Scientific publishing is the only way for the development of nations in all walks of life, the great countries did not gain their status except scientific development, so those countries invested in scientific research and provided him with the necessary support. The superpowers realized their importance, worked to put laws and regulations to protect and secure it, even though this development, many attacks appeared on scientific research, and the research attempts to address these attacks by providing an insurance system for the production of scientific publishing (printing and electronic). using of information diagnostic methods and signs as well as some insurance marks in the production of scientific publishing, Where the QR mark was used as a diagnostic marker for marketing scientific research, the analog and digital watermark used to secure scientific publishing, with printing on security paper (fluorinated paper). A questionnaire was designed to measure the effectiveness of adding insurance marks for scientific research. The study demonstrated the desire of most of the sample members on the need to use informational diagnostic signs as well as insurance marks in the production of scientific publishing. The problem: Violation of scientific publishing, whether paper or electronic, because there is no security production system that protects copyright and intellectual property from unauthorized copies and reprint. Objectives: - Protecting the copyrights and intellectual property of scientific publishing by setting a secure system for the production of information containers such as books, magazines and other matters related to scientific publishing, both paper and electronic - Giving scientific research an addition value represented in adding aesthetic and insurance elements that raise its production and promotional value. Experimental Work: The applied study included two practical experiments aimed at securing paper and electronic scientific publishing, in addition to designing a questionnaire paper to measure theffectiveness of securing scientific publishing among researchers, and Results: There are a few researchers with knowledge of the uses of insurance marks, due to their specialization in science (printing, publishing and packaging) which includes curricula in the field of designing valuable publications and printing production systems. Most researchers believe that the paper and electronic scientific publishing systems did not achieve security and keep information confidential from theft and infringement, such as copying and republishing without right. Researchers' tendencies (to some extent) to publish their research and scientific activities through electronic publishing compared to paper publishing. Many of Researchers abstain to publishing on open access for fear of piracy and copyright infringement. The highest percentage of researchers are willing to produce their information containers through an insurance production system.
