Abstract

The research aims to develop a proposed design for children's dress in the kindergarten stage to suit the requirements of this physical and psychological stage according to their needs and personal measurements, which are called early childhood, and given the importance of the nature of this age stage in which personality, mental capabilities and social skills are formed, The researcher conducted an analytical study of the current dress code in the markets, in which he found some problems, the most important of which is the lack of various measurements of different bodies for the same age group (4-5 years) in which the functional needs of child comfort are identified and identified by parents of children at this stage, and the research followed the approach The applied analytical, and the research sample consisted of a random sample of 25 children from kindergarten in the girls ’sun schools in Taif Governorate, Their personal measurements were taken and divided into four different measurements for each age group (4-5) which is short, slim, long, thin, short, obese and long-obese. 8 designs were made for the four measurements for each stage and then constructed a questionnaire that was controlled by specialists for reliability and reliability, They and the parents of the children evaluated the implemented designs according to the three main axes of the questionnaire, which were built according to the views of the parents about the problems they face when purchasing the uniform, and the most important results are that there are statistically significant differences between the designs produced according to the results of the arbitration, Providing different measurements according to the nature of the child’s body for the same age, and the researcher recommended shedding light on the various difficulties facing the designers of children's clothes and providing possible solutions, especially early childhood due to the many physical changes that children have.
