Abstract

African Arts is distinct from other arts, with its dazzling colors, and it is characterized by simplicity and influenced by the customs and traditions of tribes in the desert and African forests. It contains the methods used in the implementation of floor covering and including : manual and mechanical methods . African arts differ greatly from the arts in the world, as they always have real-life connotations in Africa in terms of heat, work and effort, and are embodied in dazzling colors and sometimes in an unconventional pattern in the formations of bodies and shapes, so African art is always distinguished from other arts by its dazzling colors and Warmth in expressing the subject of the artistic work as it is an art characterized by simplicity and its abstractions, and we find that African art has had a great influence on the arts of the modern and contemporary times. The assets in their artistic works, especially the Surrealist and Cubist school. Weavs wall were chosen to apply this art because this industry is one of the types of textile industries that are closely related to art and technology, as it is one of the industries that most show the customs and traditions of peoples through designs through which we can identify the customs and traditions of different peoples as it is an important means To learn about the civilizations of different nations. Research problem: That in light of the country’s current orientation to Africa, this research will enrich African art and create designs inspired by it to be marketed globally and locally. Research objectives: Creating designs that can be used as weaving pendants, inspired by some African art units and symbols, to be executed in the Hand Tuft style. Significance : 1- Utilizing the units and colors of African art in creating designs for textile pendants. 2- Enriching the textile industry by using African art units and colors. 3- Support state directives, limit the consolidation of relations with African countries. Conclusion : 1- African art units can be used to create modern designs with aesthetic values and to use them as weaves wall object. 2- The use of different colors using the same design helped to obtain many aesthetic effects, which helps to satisfy all tastes. 3-Using the hand tufting method to implement the designs and the possibility of making a prominent and clear way to embody and clarify some elements from others.
