Abstract

Designing a hypermedia program seeking to learn knowledge and basic skills of fashion designing for people with hearing impairment. The study participates in shedding light on people with hearing impairment class and their potential skills and abilities that must be utilized through providing suitable educational conditions as well as coping with technological development in teaching methods used with people with hearing impairment based on using hypermedia programs. In addition, the study aims to open the field for people with hearing impairment to depend on themselves and meet their living requirements. The study aims to building a hypermedia program to learn certain skills and knowledge of designing fashion for people with hearing impairment. The current study copes the technological development in teaching methods of people with hearing impairment through activating the hypermedia role that many studies proved its effectiveness in gaining skills and knowledge for people with hearing impairment. Results: The current study presented a model for a proposed hypermedia program to learn certain skills and knowledge about fashion designing. The proposed hypermedia program model passes four basic steps from each step a set of procedures is branched as follows: First: Analysis & Design Stage: determining the features of the study class to be taken into account when designing the program. Second: Writing and Preparing the Paper Scenario of the Program: This included designing reaction modes, surfing methods, and reaction interfaces. Third: Programming Production Stage: producing the educational multimedia and collecting the available of it and converting the paper scenario into computerized hypermedia program taking into account that all previous stages passed constructional assessment, amendment, and review processes.
