Abstract

The problem of research, has been summed up by addressing the importance of harmonizing the inherited and inherent design traditions with contemporary designs in a positive manner that carries with it expressive meanings and meanings to preserve the design identity of the different communities through the process of communication between tradition and contemporary in the design of interior spaces. The importance of research: the study promotes and preserves the old design values, it deals with in a scientific and knowledge to benefit from them by different disciplines related. The objective of the research was to identify the expressive harmony between tradition and contemporary in the interior spaces of contemporary mosques By highlighting the most important intellectual and material considerations within the spatial boundaries of the contemporary mosques, which have traditional features in the state of Turkey, As well as specifying terms in the title of the research: Harmonization, expression, imitation, contemporary, to come out with procedural definitions. Methodology: The descriptive approach was adopted in the analysis of the two models that were deliberately selected from the whole research community. Results: 1-Harmonization of laws does not mean the abolition of one or even replace them with a new one, but the attempt to bring them closer and find a minimum of requirements. 2-Interior designs achieve performance benefit and specific needs in an economic way, which is one of the meanings of the functional alignment of need and purpose. 3-the need to invest hybrid designs as an expression of cultural exchange and harmony. And focus on the need to invest designers to the tradition seriously beyond the definition of narrow or what is supposed to contain these traditions. 4-The heritage designs have a functional, aesthetic and environmental dimension to form a cultural and developmental building in the construction of the cultural personality and cultural identity of the society. This building is an economic investment aimed at building human civilization and ensuring its continuity. 5-The internal designs are harmonization with the culture and history of the society, even if a small percentage reflects the roots that translate its cultural identity and give it its own mark. 6. The constituent elements of the camel are composed of two elements, namely the content, and an external element that helps to indicate and distinguish this content. 7-Expressionism is not a description but the manifestations of its functions through its formal vocabulary and this formative and functional coherence is what can be called expression, and that the elements of form and content constitute the unity of the aesthetic experience despite the different means of expression formative used in space. 8. The impact of the rapid advancement of technology on the features of the interior design resulted in a two-way problematic issue: first, originality, tradition and return to heritage with its values and origins; and second: modernity, freedom from the old and impossibility of returning to the past, and cultural continuity must come through renewal and rooting in design expression and linking it to concepts Modernity.
