Abstract
This part of the study applied in the laboratory experiment to know the effect of water extracts of the vegetation and rootlet of the Flaveria trinervia in the four levels (0,10,20,30%) on germination and growth onion seeds. These crop was added 10 seeds in a petri dish, and 5 mL of the extract was added, with four replicates per treatment. After two weeks, the measurements were taken on the studied traits (germination ratio, speed, length of the plumule, the rootlet, the soft and dry weight of the plumule and the rootlet). The results showed that the effect of the rootlet extract of Flaveria trinervia was significant on the dry weight of the plumule and the rootlet of the onion crop. The effect of the vegetative extract of Flaveria trinervia was also significant on the length of the rootlet for onion crop. The effect of concentration 30%, was significant on the percentage of germination, germination speed and length of the rootlet of the Onion crop. The intensity of the inhibition increased with the increasing concentration of the extract. The low concentrations (10%) of the weeds extract led to the stimulation of the length of the plumule and the rootlet and increased the soft weight of the plumule and the rootletlet. The interaction between the concentration of 30% with the vegetation was affected the soft weight for rootlet of onions corp.
