Abstract

Homeopathy is a type of alternative medicine that is widely used nowadays for its ease of use, low coast, and because of complaints against allopathic or conventional medicine. Homeopathic remedies depend on using prepared substances from plants, animals, and minerals, it’s based on the belief that the body can cure itself, or “like cures like”. This research article presents a comprehensive evaluation using both scientific and religious evidences about the concept of homeopathy. This investigation concludes that homeopathic remedies even though treated many diseases are nothing but placebo in most of the cases. More investigation must be carried out about homeopathic remedies to assess their safety. This study recommends that homeopathic remedies to be taken under medical consultation, and as a supportive remedies not as a substitute remedies.
