Abstract
Ancient History of Hebron from 3200 To 589 B.C.
The researcher pointed that natural conditions helped the early occupation in/Tell Er-Rumeida/,and discussed the history of locating the site in 1920 until the present time. It was found out that the site known as the/Arba/for the first time in the middle of the first bronze age (A). Under the/Hyksos/occupation it was known as Hebron as, the first ethnic group settled at/Tell Er-Rumeida/was Amorite at the beginning of the third century B.C. Its material culture was mirrored in that of Hyksos settlement in Egypt such as Scarab and ceramic forms, burial practices ,spread into other Canaan settlements ,in spite of Hebron's transition under the Egyptian occupation ,it escaped from the destruction that took place at other Hyksos Centers in Canaan .The research also examines the changes in the Ceramic industry during the iron age .Moreover, the research also touches upon the Assyrian and Babylonian attack on Hebron.
