Abstract
This paper studies the emergence and the development of the national stream in Iraq from the end of the 1st World War, and examines the factors which influenced and shaped this stream in 1941. It also shows by documents some aspects and elements which caused the crisis between the two main streams of the Iraqi national movement regardless of the different titles and descriptions which each side of the movement said about the other side in its documents.
The efforts of the streams of the Iraqi national movement to strenghthen its position made the foreign interference more likely to happen. This was clear from Rashid Ali al-Kilani movement. The results of the study will hopefully benefit us in the present time.
