Abstract

This paper seeks to present a consistent approach for the study of the poetic text through the focus on the poetic structural role in its formation, for the substance of verse is the sound which forms an aesthetic value and rhythm in text. Rarely have critical studies given the sound its due attention. Only linguists have given it their interest. Critics have never been open much to benefit from the significant values which the sound suggests in the poetic text, though the sound represents the first brick in the construction of a poetic text. Therefore, it shouldn’t be overlooked.
