Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using cartoon on acquiring female students at Fifth grade the jurisprudence concepts and their attitudes towards Islamic Education. To achieve the purpose of this study, the researchers used descriptive and analytical methods, analytical content and experimental study. The researchers chose 70 female students randomly for experimental and control groups. The tools of the study were achievement test about jurisprudence concepts included (34) paragraphs were multiple choice and the teacher applied the lessons. The researchers also worked up attitudes measurement. It consisted of (26) paragraphs and five responses. The findings of the study determined a list of the jurisprudence concepts and revealed that there were statistically significant differences at (a ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores attained by the experimental group and those by the control group in the posttest for experimental group.

The Effect was large. Moreover, the findings indicated that that there were statistically significant differences at (a ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores attained by the experimental group and those by the control group in two treatments, pre and posttests, for the posttest. Likewise, the findings indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (a ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group on the attitude in favor of the experimental group. There were statistically significant differences at (a ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group on the pre and post attitudes in favor of the post. In light of those findings, the researcher recommended the necessity of using cartoon in teaching Islamic Education and the importance of training Islamic Education teachers of how they teaching by this technique. Also, the researcher suggested that further researches should be conducted on different subjects and grades.
