This study aimed at examining the effect of using an instructional model in improving learning the Holy Quran recitation for the students of Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts (UNRWA) in Jordan. To achieve this objective, an instructional model was developed and applied to the sample of study, which consisted of 74 students. The students were divided into two groups: an experimental group which was taught by using the instructional model, and a control group which was taught by the traditional method. After completing the study application, a performance and written exams were applied, and ANCOVA test was used to answer the study questions. The study results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in the performance and written exams in favor of the experimental group, which was taught by using the instructional model.
