Abstract
This study aimed at identifying the prevalence of suicidal thoughts among a sample of Syrian refugees in Jordan in the light of some variables such as gender, age, social status and educational level. The sample of the study consisted of (374) refugees: males females In addition, the study used suicidal thoughts scale after the verification of their validity and reliability. The researchers used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze the data. The results revealed a medium level of suicidal thoughts among a sample of Syrian refugees in Jordan. The results of this study have indicated the presence of statistically significant differences in the level of suicidal thoughts which relates to the social status variable in favor of the bachelor. However, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of suicidal thoughts due to the variables of gender, age, or educational level.
