The present study aimed to reveal the level of applying the E-management in the Deanship of the Preparatory Year in the University of Hail. The sample of the study consists of all heads of departments and academics staff in Deanship of the Preparatory Year in the University of Hail, they are (341) contributors: (163) males, (178) females, during the academic year 2017-2018. A questionnaire that consisted of twenty four items was used as a tool for the study. The findings of the study show that the level of the application of the questionnaire’s items -as a whole to the study sample- was medium, and there is an apparent variation in the level of applying the E-management among the heads of departments and the academic staff according to the study variables, with no statistically significant differences in applying the E-management for the heads of department and the academics staff due to the effect of the job. However, there were statistically significant differences to gender, in favor of males. Moreover, there were statistically significant differences attributed to the impact of academic rank and differences were in favor of the rank of Associate Professor and above. In light of the above mentioned results, a number of recommendations have been proposed, including the need to make all employees and the academic staff aware of the role of the E-management, and to develop training programs according to their needs to work under the electronic administration
