Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of an electronic learning environment in developing programming skills for eleventh grade students in Gaza Governorate, and the researchers built two study tools consisting of a cognitive test and an evaluation card to measure programming skills (the performance side, and they were applied to a sample number (30) A student from the eleventh grade students at Shohadaa Al-Shati Secondary School for Girls for the second semester) 2019-2020)

The researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach in analyzing the topics (Arduino board and its applications, programming a robot car), and interpreting the results, as well as the semi-experimental approach to designing the one group (before me) to reveal the effectiveness of an electronic learning environment, and the results of the study showed the effectiveness of the e-learning environment in developing Programming skills for eleventh graders, where the rate of black gain was (1.31), and there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α =0.05), between the mean scores of eleventh graders in the cognitive test of programming skills before and after application in favor of post-application.

There are also statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α =0.05), between the mean scores of eleventh grade students in the evaluation card for programming skills before and after application in favor of post-implementation.

The researcher recommended the necessity of employing the electronic educational environment in developing programming skills to raise the achievement and skill level of the students, in addition to using them in various specializations
