Abstract
The study aimed to find out the predictive ability of the big five personality traits in social intelligence among students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts/ UNRWA. The sample of the study consisted of (202) male and female students, who were chosen by the random stratified method. To answer the study questions, the correlation coefficient and the multiple regression analysis were used. The results also showed the correlation relationship between all personality factors and social intelligence, with the exception of the conscientiousness factor, and the results also showed some differences in the correlation relationship between the big five personality traits and social intelligence, according to the study variables. The results also showed a predictive ability for personality factors: extraversion, neuroticism, and openness to experience in social intelligence.
