Abstract
This study aimed to explore the relationship between the use of body language skills in the professional performance of educational counsellors in the governorates of the West Bank (Palestine). The correlational descriptive approach was used, and the sample of the study consisted of (190) educational counsellors (males and females) in the schools of the educational directorates in the West Bank. The study was carried out during the scholastic year (2019/2020), the sample was chosen by the simplified sampling method. To achieve the study objectives, the two study tools were developed, and the results showed that there was a positive correlation between the body language skills and the professional performance in the sample whose value reached (0.480), That is, when the degree of the body language skills increased, the level of the professional performance also increased, and vice-versa. The study showed that the results of the two levels of body language use and professional performance use were high. The results showed that there was a prediction for the dimensions of the body language skills in the level of professional performance by (31.6).
