Abstract

The study aimed at diagnosing the reality of teachers participation in decision madding in Ramallah district area and the relationship of such participation to teachers self-morale. The descriptive procedural methodology was used to see into the scope of the study questions where as a population of 2119 was considered and a sample of 9% (213) teachers was randomly chosen.

A well valid and reliable questionnaire was used where construct and referee validity were used and a test- re-test reliability (0.87) was reached at for the participation part of the questionnaire and a reliability of (0.83) was also reached at for the part of self- morale. Cronbach alfa (0.93) was also reached at for participation and (0.89) for self-morale.

The study reached the following results:

  1. The level of participation of teachers reached (3.32) which is a medium level of participation; and the level of self-morale was found also medium and reached (3.22).
  2. There are statistical differences at the level of (0.05) among means of responses of teachers towards their participation in decision-making related to gender.
  3. There are statistical differences at the level of (0.05) among means of responses of teachers on self-morale scale related to gender, qualifications, and experiences.
  4. There are statistical differences at the level of (0.05)among means of responses of teachers towards their participation in decision-making and their means of responses on the self-morale scale as they view their self-morale.
