The study aimed at recognizing the role of the basic school Principals Training Programme in imparting professional competences in Hebron Dirrectorate .It also aimed at finding out the differences at the role of the trainiing programme due to the study variables: sex, years of experience and the directorate. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire. The reliability of internal consistency was calculated using Cronbach Alpha, It was found (0.89). Means and Standard Deviations and t-test were used. The descriptive method was also used. The population of the study consists of all the basic school principals in Hebron and Southern Hebron Directorates in the academic year 2006 - -2007, they are (31), only (23) of the questionnaire were droned back. The results of the study revealed that generally, the training programme impparted to Principals the needed competences the mean was (3.72) the results also showed that there were no differences in the role of training programme due to sex, years of experience and Directorate.
