The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of the managerial communications system on performance from the viewpoint of employees and academic supervisors at Al Quds Open University/ Northern governorrates. Sample of the study consists of 128 employees and academic supervisors out of 329 which means %39 of the population. Questionnaires were distributed all over university departments, centers, presidency office and educational regions which were spread all over the Northern Governorates. Findings of the study showed that there was a positive effect of the adopted managerial communication system at al Quds Open University on performance accordiing to response of the studying sample and responses were high and very high all over the five studying dimensions. Also finding of the study didn’t show any significant differences due to the effect of the managerial communication system on performance according to the demographic variables. Upon finding of the study the researcher had introduced the most important recommendations as followed. 1. Managerial communications is considered not only vital but the magic stick in the university work, bearing in mind the university dispersed regions and departments؛therefore, it is important to cope with the technological devvelopment in the scope of communications. 2. The importance of activating the internet as a mean of communication, will reduce the cost of communication generally and the use of paper commmunication particularly through Fax. 3. Reinforcing the formal communications in all forms will reduce the informmal communications in the university and increase the positive interaction among university employees.
