Abstract

This study aimed at determining the social, psychological, and physical stratigies used by teachers for facing the teaching stress among variables of: gender, educational stage, educational qulification, and specialization. To

achieve the study purpose the researcher constructed a questionnaire and distributed it among a sample consisting of (200) teachers (100 males, and 100 females) from the goverment schools in Tulkarm. Results showed that teachers used the social, psychological, and physical strategies in this order for facing the teaching stress. Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the teachers strategies for facing the teaching stress due to gender variable in favor of fmales in social, psychological strategies, but in favor of males in physics strategies. Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the teachers psychses and physics strategies for facing the teaching stress due to educational stage variable in favor of socandary schools teachers, but there were no statistical significant differences in the teachers social strategies due to this variable. On the other hand, the results showed that there were no statistical significant differences in the teachers social, psychological, and physical strategies for facing the teaching stress due to variables: educational qulification, and specialization of teachers.
