Abstract
The study aimed at investigating the level of knowledge of concept mapping among physics teachers in Jordan in light of some variables related to them. The sample of the study was composed of (96) male and female physics teachers at the first Irbid Directorate of education schools. The variables related to physics teachers were gender, teaching experience and educational qualification. A five point Likert scale composed of (75) items was validated and used to measure the physics teachers knowledge of concept mapping in Jordan. The study recommended, in light of results achieved, that concept mapping should be part of physics teachers’ certification and training and more effort should be done to convince them to use concept maps in teaching.
