Abstract
This study aims to identify the training needs of the administrative staff members of Al-Azhar university for the application of E-Management and to explore if these needs differ according to the participants' gender, occupational level, educational level, experience and training in computer. The descriptive analytical approach was used and data were collected via the questionnaire.
the questionnaire consisted of (49) items and the reliability coefficient was (0.97). the participants were 211 administrative staff members who were selected randomly from 12 faculties in Al-Azhar university .the data were statistically analyzed using means, standard deviations, one way analysis of variance, and T-Test. The results showed that there is a great need for training in the professional aspect while this need was less in the other aspects. Additionally, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the participants' rating of the training needs according to their gender, occupational level, educational level, and training in computer. However, there were no statistical significant differences in the participants' rating of the training needs according to experience. Furthermore, the study recommended providing some training courses for the administrative staff members of Al-Azhar university based on their needs in order to get them familiarized with the philosophy of E-Management and the requirements of its application.
